Morgan Stanley Becomes One of First Banks to Adopt DTCC's Tokenization Service

November 4: Morgan Stanley announced that it is one of the first banks to tokenize real-world assets following the launch of DTCC's Tokenization Service (DTS), having converted U.S. equities and U.S. Treasuries into tokenized form. Launched on October 28, DTS can create tokenized representations backed by securities held in custody at DTC, aiming to improve liquidity, collateral mobility, and capital efficiency.
