Huawei, Alibaba Among 20 Organizations: Jointly Building Agent Interconnection Infrastructure to Accelerate Agent Empowerment Across All Industries
November 4 — According to Gelonghui citing the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), 20 organizations including CAICT, Huawei, Alibaba, Tencent and Xiaomi today jointly released the "Self-Discipline Convention on Agent Development." It proposes building agent interconnection infrastructure. Jointly build interconnectable infrastructure and develop technologies and standards for agent registration and resolution, capability description and discovery, intent understanding and conversion, network routing and connectivity, resource scheduling and metering, and protocol compatibility and mutual recognition. Continuously reduce the cost of cross-domain agent discovery and connection to support agent interconnection and collaboration; accelerate agent empowerment across all industries. Adhere to serving the real economy, develop low-threshold agent development and deployment tools, jointly develop agents oriented toward real work scenarios that create tangible value, promote the embedding of agents into existing production systems and business processes, and build benchmark applications. Continuously lower the cost of deploying agents and help industries improve quality and efficiency.
