Nov 5, 22:11

November 5 — According to Coindesk, crypto exchange Kraken's parent company Payward and its asset management clients have purchased an undisclosed amount of AAVE tokens on the secondary market, further advancing its push into DeFi and asset management. The purchase was carried out through Payward-affiliated investment fund Digital Asset Special Investments I, LP and its clients. Payward said it may continue to add to its holdings and is exploring future collaboration opportunities with Aave. People familiar with the matter said the arrangement evolved from earlier negotiations, when the plan had involved both tokens and equity, while today's announcement disclosed only the token purchase.
