Standard Chartered Bank plans to provide digital asset custody services to institutional investors in Singapore.

On October 8 that, according to The Block, Standard Chartered Bank plans to offer crypto asset custody services to institutional investors in Singapore. The custody product segregates client assets and provides statutory protection comparable to that of traditional assets. The service is scheduled to launch in other major financial centers, including the UAE, Luxembourg, and Hong Kong, starting from mid-2026.
