Franklin Templeton CEO Criticizes Competitors' Tokenized Funds as "Lacking Substance"

Oct 8, 15:02

On October 8, according to CryptoBriefing, Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson stated at the TOKEN2049 Singapore conference that most competing tokenized funds in the market are merely "digital twins" of traditional products and do not truly leverage blockchain's efficiency advantages. In contrast, Franklin Templeton's BENJI Fund uses public blockchain as its native record layer, supports per-second yield accumulation, and incurs a per-transaction cost of only $1.13, far lower than the approximately $150 for traditional methods.
