Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission Lists "Finanx AI" as Unlicensed Company for Allegedly Promoting Tokens to Investors

On October 9, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) announced that "Finanx AI/Finas Technology Limited" has been listed as an unlicensed entity. The entity may have promoted the "FNXAI" and "1FNXAI" tokens to investors through events held in Hong Kong, and may have claimed that investing in these tokens could yield high returns. The FNXAI and 1FNXAI tokens were placed on the SFC's List of Suspicious Investment Products on September 30, 2026. The SFC stated that the entity is neither licensed nor registered with the commission under the Securities and Futures Ordinance to carry out any regulated activities in Hong Kong, and is therefore prohibited from engaging in any regulated activities in Hong Kong.
