Bitget expands institutional-grade custody and OTC settlement infrastructure, supporting diverse custody and settlement models.
On October 9, as the institutional market gradually transitions to a model that separates custody and trading, Bitget is continuously expanding its open custody and off-exchange settlement infrastructure for institutional clients, offering them more flexible options for asset custody, capital management, and trading access.
Currently, Bitget has formed partnerships with institutions including Copper ClearLoop, Cactus Custody Oasis, Fireblocks Off Exchange, OSL MirrorEX, Bitfire PrimeMirror, and Sygnum Protect. Through diversified custody and settlement models, it aims to meet the differentiated needs of various institutions regarding asset segregation, custody options, settlement efficiency, and liquidity access.
Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, stated: “Different types of institutions have distinct requirements for custody, settlement, and capital management. Through open and compatible infrastructure, Bitget aims to empower institutions to select custody and settlement solutions that align with their operational models, thereby achieving asset risk isolation while enhancing capital utilization efficiency and liquidity access capabilities.”
This expansion also represents a key component of Bitget’s UEX strategy. Institutional services will remain a strategic priority, leveraging an open and scalable custody and settlement network to provide institutions with greater flexibility in asset management and trading access. It will further improve capital efficiency across different assets and markets, accelerating the convergence of crypto assets and tokenized traditional financial infrastructure.
