European electronics retailer MediaMarktSaturn removes all Ledger products from sale

On October 13, according to Cointelegraph, European electronics retailer MediaMarktSaturn has completely removed all Ledger products from its physical stores and online platforms, stating that it is maintaining communication with the manufacturer and "takes this incident very seriously."

Previously, users reported discovering unauthorized cables and cellular modules inside Ledger wallets purchased from multiple MediaMarkt stores, which could potentially steal users' mnemonic phrases via cellular networks. The incident initially stemmed from Ledger's investigation into Southeast Asian distributor CryptoBilis, and has since expanded to Europe and Singapore.
