BlackRock crypto assets rebound in Q3, AUM rises to $79.6 billion

Oct 14, 22:59

On October 14, according to CoinDesk, BlackRock's digital assets under management surged significantly from $48.8 billion to $79.6 billion in the third quarter, marking a 63% quarter-over-quarter increase. The period saw a net inflow of $7.9 billion, reversing a net outflow of $2.2 billion in the first half of the year. This growth was primarily driven by rising market prices, with market value gains contributing $22.9 billion and new investor capital adding $7.9 billion. Despite this, the current scale remains 23% below the peak of approximately $104 billion recorded at the same time last year, and the market value has contracted by $30.6 billion over the past 12 months. During the quarter, BlackRock's digital asset products (including the iShares Bitcoin Trust, IBIT) collectively generated $39 million in fee and securities lending revenue.
