Diva Staking announced it is ceasing operations and will not launch on mainnet.

Oct 29, 09:22

On October 29, Diva Staking issued an official announcement stating that the liquid staking protocol has decided to cease operations and will not launch its mainnet. Users who pre-deposited funds into the Early Staker Vaults can directly withdraw their deposits via Enzyme.

The team stated that project funding was depleted by mid-2024, after which three core members continued development for nearly two and a half years without revenue or salaries. The team could not cover the costs for a new round of audits, as well as the launch and maintenance expenses for the complex protocol, and no major institutions were willing to assist with the launch. Diva had previously been live on the Hoodi testnet, operating stably for four months without any glitches. However, given that AI makes vulnerabilities easier to uncover, the protocol posed risks of undetected audit oversights that could compromise user fund security. Consequently, the team opted to shut down the project rather than rush the mainnet launch.
