Analyst: Bitcoin returns above the Strategy 2026 cost line, but positions bought since 2025 remain underwater.

On October 29, analyst Darkfost stated that Strategy currently holds 848,517 BTC, with an overall average acquisition cost of approximately $75,446.

Bitcoin's price has recently reclaimed its 2026 cost basis line of approximately $78,900; however, when accounting for all purchases since 2025 and sales during dips earlier this summer, the estimated cost remains around $90,600, exceeding the current BTC price.

Darkfost noted that Strategy has resumed buying BTC after pausing for several weeks, but made no new purchases last week, meaning the new positions accumulated since 2025 have yet to achieve overall profitability.
