On October 31, community sources indicate VergeX users received consecutive withdrawal verification email alerts around 21:56 Beijing Time tonight, followed by unauthorized transfers of their account funds.

VergeX team member Tintin (@Tintinx2021) subsequently responded in the community channel, noting that the total amount involved is relatively minor, impacting only a few users with maximum individual losses of approximately 850 USDT. He confirmed that refunds are already underway, stating that affected users will have their balances fully restored within 72 hours, while all other users remain unaffected.
