On November 4, trader Ansem stated that the stock market macro cycle may be nearing its end. He believes that many stocks which have led the rally since late 2022 have accumulated substantial gains, and after years without major corrections, the market is now exhibiting clear signs of profit-taking.

Ansem noted that the crypto market showed weakness earlier, which may explain why it bottomed out ahead of equities and staged a strong rebound in the third quarter. He is currently evaluating whether this bounce marks the start of a new bull market or merely a counter-trend rally within a larger downtrend; if it is the latter, many could be caught off guard.
