On Nov. 4, Meta Platforms (META.O) launched its first euro bond issuance after issuing $15 billion in USD-denominated bonds on Tuesday. According to a person familiar with the matter, Meta’s proposed euro bonds will be divided into six maturity tranches, ranging from slightly over four years to more than 38 years. Initial pricing guidance for the shortest-maturity bonds is approximately 140 basis points above mid-term swap rates, while guidance for longer-dated bonds is around 370 basis points higher.

This marks Meta’s first bond issuance outside the U.S. domestic market. On Tuesday, the company’s USD bond offering saw strong investor demand, with indications reaching as high as $58 billion. Citigroup and Morgan Stanley are serving as underwriters for this euro bond issuance, with pricing expected later on Wednesday.
