Riot sold 20,264 Bitcoin in the first nine months of this year.

On November 5 that, according to disclosures by Riot Platforms, the company sold 20,264 Bitcoin during the first nine months of 2026, raising approximately $1.5 billion, which was primarily used for data center development.

As of the end of the third quarter, Riot held 2,418 Bitcoin worth approximately $202 million; the company also used the proceeds from the Bitcoin sales to fully repay its $200 million Coinbase credit facility, releasing all pledged Bitcoin.
