Binance France will close user accounts on December 31.

On November 8 that, according to Cointelegraph, Binance France has notified users via email that their accounts will be closed by December 31, 2026.

The report cites an email sent to users stating that starting November 29, accounts with remaining balances will be charged a monthly maintenance fee of 0.025% of the balance, with a minimum of 10 USDC; users must complete withdrawals before this date to avoid fees.

The email also notes that if users have not withdrawn their crypto assets by December 31, their accounts may be considered inactive, and assets may be converted, transferred, or otherwise handled. A Binance spokesperson stated that after the MiCA transition period ends, the company is gradually restricting certain services for affected users in accordance with its previously announced timeline.
