LRCX Surges 6.58% in After-Hours Trading, Beats Earnings and Guidance Expectations, Expects Revenue to Reach as High as $8.5 Billion in the Next Quarter

July 30th, Semiconductor equipment manufacturer Lam Research (LRCX) released its latest financial report. The fourth quarter of FY2026 earnings per share (EPS) was $1.82, higher than the market expectation of $1.69; revenue was $6.72 billion, also surpassing the market expectation of $6.66 billion.

The company also issued guidance for the first quarter of FY2027, expecting an EPS of $2.00 to $2.30, above the market expectation of $1.81; revenue is projected to be between $7.7 billion and $8.5 billion, higher than the market expectation of $7 billion.

Lam Research stated that the continued growth in AI data center construction, demand for storage chips, and semiconductor capital expenditures remains a core driver of the company's business growth. Due to performance and guidance, the company's latest quarter results overall exceeded market expectations.

At the time of publication, Lam Research's stock rose 6.58% in after-hours trading.
