Bhutan Engages Digital Asset Manager 3iQ to Handle Part of Its Bitcoin Reserves

July 31st, Bhutan's Gelephu Mindfulness City has entrusted digital asset manager 3iQ to manage a portion of its Bitcoin reserves. The two parties did not disclose the actual amount under management, custody arrangements, or whether the mandate allows for lending, derivatives trading, and other yield-generating strategies.

Previously, Bhutan announced that it would utilize 10,000 BTC (approximately $875 million) from its Bitcoin reserves to build the Gelephu Mindfulness City.
