Iranian Foreign Ministry: Determined to Continue the Path of Resistance and Resilience

August 2nd - The Iranian Foreign Ministry stated on August 1st local time that Iran is determined to continue on the path of resistance and perseverance until the complete elimination of the enemy's misconduct. The statement indicated that the United States is currently continuing to violate the relevant terms of the June 18th US-Iran understanding memorandum, persistently enforcing a maritime blockade on Iranian ports and commercial ships, launching brutal attacks across Iran, escalating economic pressure and illegal threats, and continuing aggression against Iran. In response, the Iranian armed forces' defensive strikes are still ongoing at full capacity.

The statement also mentioned that the United States and some of its regional allies, using the July 8th incident involving three ships as a pretext, have been attacking Iran since then, fabricating lies to find excuses to violate agreements and infringe on Iran's sovereignty in the Strait of Hormuz (CCTV News).
