Coldcard Theft Amount Rises to $88.6 Million, Involving 4,585 Addresses

August 2nd, Galaxy Research published a post stating that they have discovered the third wave of a suspected attack targeting Coldcard address generation. In this round, a total of 207.7294 BTC was moved. The estimated total amount of BTC stolen from Coldcards has now increased to 1367.05 BTC, worth approximately $88.6 million, involving 4585 addresses.
