Trump Media appears to have reduced its holdings again, this time selling 2,628 BTC, equivalent to around $165 million.

August 2nd, according to on-chain analyst Yu Jin monitoring, after a two-month hiatus, the Trump Media, a publicly traded company under Trump's name (DJT), appears to be preparing to sell BTC again. About 6 hours ago, the company transferred 2,628 BTC to Crypto.com, worth approximately $165 million. Transferring the tokens to a trading platform usually indicates a potential sale, but it cannot be confirmed at this time whether the transaction has been completed.

From July to August last year, Trump Media raised funds through stock and convertible bond offerings, and subsequently bought 11,542 BTC at an average price of $118,529, with a total investment of approximately $1.368 billion.

Since the beginning of this year, the company has sold 7,281 BTC in stages, cashing out approximately $545 million, with an average selling price of around $74,860, resulting in a realized loss of about $318 million. Currently, they still hold 4,261 BTC, worth approximately $268 million, with an unrealized loss of about $237 million. Calculated based on the above data, their cumulative realized loss from BTC investment is approximately $555 million.
