August 4th - NVIDIA has announced the launch of the cutting-edge open-source inference model Alpamayo 2 Super for autonomous vehicles. Alpamayo is capable of understanding and reasoning about the complex world—thinking before acting.

This model serves as a robust foundation for autonomous robo-taxis, trucks, shuttles, delivery vehicles, tractors, and long-tail mobile robot fleets. NVIDIA has open-sourced it under the OpenMDW-1.1 license for commercial purposes, allowing teams to inspect, fine-tune, and deploy.
