Sharplink Releases Q2 Financial Report: Holds Nearly 890,000 ETH, Revenue Surges YoY but Records $394 million Loss
August 10th, Ethereum treasury company Sharplink (Nasdaq: SBET) announced its second-quarter and first-half financial and operational data as of June 30, 2026. The company's Q2 revenue reached $11.5 million, a significant year-over-year increase from $0.7 million in the same period last year, mainly driven by the active ETH treasury management strategy launched in 2025.
The financial report shows that Sharplink's net loss in Q2 was $3.943 billion, compared to a loss of $1.034 billion in the same period last year. This includes a $3.21 billion non-cash unrealized loss and a $76.1 million LsETH/weETH impairment. The company stated that the above losses were mainly due to accounting valuation changes and did not affect the actual ETH holdings.
As of June 30, Sharplink held approximately 887,000 ETH, with the cryptocurrency valued at around $14 billion under US GAAP. As of August 3, the company's ETH holdings further increased to about 889,000 ETH. Meanwhile, the company's cash and cash equivalents were $56.2 million as of the same date, up from $28.5 million at the end of 2025.
Recently, Sharplink completed a $75 million registered direct offering and purchased about 10,000 ETH at approximately $1611/ETH. Simultaneously, the company repurchased approximately 2.1 million shares of common stock at an average price of around $4.70, totaling about $10 million. Since August 2025, the company has repurchased approximately 4.07 million shares, totaling around $41.7 million.
Furthermore, Sharplink has been included in the Russell 2000 and Russell 3000 indexes and has partnered with Galaxy to launch the Galaxy Sharplink Onchain Yield Fund, planning to invest $125 million, with Sharplink committing $100 million.
