Is Bitcoin Bottoming in October? Can the Anonymous Prophet's Accurate Prediction Strike Again?
since Bitcoin's peak in October 2025, it has been over 10 months, and the four-year cycle theory, believed by the crypto community, has recently sparked heated discussions again: when will Bitcoin reach the bottom and when is the best time to buy the dip. On this issue, has compiled the opinions of many well-known analysts as follows:
Renowned trader and chart analyst Peter Brandt stated in late July that he expects Bitcoin to bottom out in this market cycle on October 4, 2026 and believes that investing in Bitcoin for the next two to three years may outperform investing in AI stocks. In addition, Brandt predicts that the next cycle's peak will occur in 2029, with a target price range of $250,000 to $300,000.
Jiang Zhuo'er, the founder of Lebit Pool (B.TOP), predicted the bottom of this bear market by combining the previous three Bitcoin halving cycles. He expects the bottom price of this BTC cycle to be $44,016, with an expected date of October 31.
Well-known traders Killa and CryptoD provided a relatively broad time range for the bottom. Killa believes the bottom may form in September to November. CryptoD, who once made a single-coin profit of over $10 million relying on the meme coin TRUMP, believes that the overall crypto market is gradually approaching the bottom, stating, "Q3 and Q4 are likely to be the last period before the next bull market to strategically position oneself."
It is worth noting that Peter Brandt's and Jiang Zhuo'er's October bottoming theories align closely with the widely circulated theory from an anonymous "oracle" post on the 4chan forum. Historical records show that this "oracle" post was published on December 12, 2023, listing the time spans of Bitcoin's price highs and lows in four cycles since 2015 (ATL 2015 → ATH 2017 ≈ 1064 days; ATH 2017 → ATL 2018 ≈ 364 days; ATL 2018 → ATH 2021 ≈ 1064 days; ATH 2021 → ATL 2022 ≈ 364 days), and based on this pattern, it deduced that Bitcoin would peak on October 6, 2025. Following this logic, Bitcoin is also expected to bottom out this October.
However, the above analysis may be considered a case of "hindsight bias." In this current cycle, institutional capital entering the market has redefined the Bitcoin landscape, so a shift in the narrative is not unexpected.
