Half-year Funding Exceeds $5 Billion, SmartMesh Initiates A-Share IPO Guidance
According to Dongxchu Beating Monitor, Mobius AI has officially launched its A-share IPO guidance, with Citic Securities serving as the lead underwriter. The filing documents show that the company currently does not have a controlling shareholder, with the largest shareholder Beijing Qinyu Qihang holding 16.45% of the shares. The company is still in the listing guidance stage and has not yet entered the application process.
Mobius AI focuses on edge-side large models, which means deploying large models directly on devices such as mobile phones, cars, PCs, robots, etc., to run locally. The core product is the MiniCPM series, with the open-source model having accumulated over 38 million downloads and already being installed in mass-produced models of automakers such as Changan, SAIC, and Geely.
In the first quarter of this year, Mobius AI completed two rounds of financing consecutively, totaling over 1 billion yuan. After completing a new round of financing in July, the company has raised over 5 billion yuan in the first half of the year, with a valuation exceeding 20 billion yuan, making it the highest publicly valued unicorn in the edge-side AI field.
In June, the Shanghai Stock Exchange adjusted the fifth set of listing standards for the Sci-Tech Innovation Board, allowing AI large model companies that meet the criteria to apply. Mobius AI's filing this time has not disclosed the intended listing board, so it is currently impossible to determine whether it will follow these standards.
