Intel's CEO, Pat Gelsinger, to Invest $12 million in Purchasing Company Stock
August 14th, Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger subscribed to $12 million worth of Intel common stock at an offering price of $95 per share. The relevant information was disclosed in a supplemental filing to Intel's prospectus submitted on the same day.
This subscription is part of Intel's latest $20 billion public offering and not a secondary market purchase. Intel had initially planned to issue $15 billion worth of common stock, which was later increased to $20 billion. A total of 21,052,631.5 million shares will be issued, with the underwriters being granted an option to purchase an additional maximum of 31,578,947 shares within 30 days. The offering is expected to be completed on August 12th.
