August 14th, according to TradingBeats (formerly Hyperinsight) monitoring, a whale with an address starting with 0x1829 achieved a win rate as high as 95% in its historical 20 rounds of storage trading; however, it stumbled only once with SKHX, swallowing all the previously accumulated profits.

The whale chased the SK Hynix at $1909, capitulated near the $902 low, took a haircut, and missed out on a 30% rebound afterward.

On June 22nd, a new storage high was set.

The whale chased the peak of SK Hynix at an average price of around $1909; the next day, it dropped significantly, and then the whale averaged down between $1685 and $1775, eventually holding 558.75 units, with a total investment of around $1.012 million, averaging down to $1810.43.

Subsequently, SKHX kept falling. At noon on July 29th, the whale proactively placed a "only reduce position" market order, "ending" all positions at the valley of $902.6. This point happened to be near the lowest point of $879.4 an hour later. The net loss of this round was about $557,000; recording a loss of approximately $507,300.

The liquidation point became the starting point of the rebound.

SKHX is now at $1169.4, up 29.6% from its average selling price, and up about 33% from the low of $879.4. Earlier today, SKHX rose to $1216.5, if the whale continues to hold to this day, it may reduce the loss by $175,400.

As of now, the address has not bought back SK Hynix, nor has it returned to trading.
