SK Group Executive Compensation Revealed, Choi Tae Won Receives 1.75 Billion Korean Won Half-Year Salary

According to Korean media reports, SK Group Chairman Choi Tae-won received 1.75 billion Korean Won (approximately $1.24 million) in salary from SK Corporation in the first half of this year. According to the Financial Supervisory Service on August 14th, SK Corporation disclosed this information in its semi-annual report released on the same day. The Chairman's salary in the first half of this year remained the same as the same period last year, without any additional bonuses apart from the salary. The Chairman's younger brother and SK Group Vice Chairman Choi Jae-won received 1.5 billion Korean Won in salary during the same period.
SK Corporation President Jang Yong-ho received a total of 1.8 billion Korean Won, including 1 billion Korean Won in salary and 800 million Korean Won in bonuses. In addition, Yoon Young-yong, President of SK Supex Pursuit Agreement, was disclosed to have received a total of 7.715 billion Korean Won, including 500 million Korean Won in salary, 800 million Korean Won in bonuses, and 6.415 billion Korean Won in compensation from 12,103 Performance Stock Units (PSUs) granted three years ago.
