Reddit's stock price surged over 13% as the company is set to be included in the S&P 500 Index.

August 14th, according to BIT (bit.com) market data, Reddit's stock price surged over 13%, now trading at $179.4.

Earlier, S&P Dow Jones Indices announced that Reddit (RDDT) will be officially added to the S&P 500 Index before the market opens on August 18, replacing the acquired AvalonBay Communities (AVB).
