Polygon co-founder apologizes: related marketing content was not intended to imply Abstract's shutdown.

October 7 — Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal responded to previously controversial marketing content (a Polygon official tweet posting a "Polygon is not dead" announcement that was suspected of mocking Abstract's shutdown) by saying that the content's actual effect differed from expectations and triggered a completely different interpretation. He said that when he first saw the content that morning in Singapore, he was also very shocked.

Sandeep said that the Polygon marketing team's original intention was self-deprecation, because for a long time some people have claimed that "Polygon is dead," while Polygon's fundamentals have actually continued to improve, and there was no intention to allude to Abstract's shutdown. He said he greatly respects Abstract founder Luca Netz and his team, "We would not do this, because Polygon itself has also experienced the pain of terminating zkEVM."

Sandeep also expressed support for Luca and the Pengu team, and said Luca is one of the best entrepreneurs in the industry and that he will continue to cheer for his team.
