Jev Tops Ramp Software Dark Horse List: Enterprise Adoption Rate Grows by 1 Percentage Point in One Month

Oct 8, 20:14

Beating AI News Flash: U.S. enterprise payment platform Ramp has released its latest software procurement rankings, based on real transactions from over 70,000 businesses on the platform. TypeSafe AI, with its Jev, has topped the "Explosive Growth" list. It also ranked second on the market share growth list, trailing only Anthropic, while OpenAI came in fourth.

Less than a month after launch, Jev's enterprise adoption rate grew by about 1 percentage point. It is an AI model specifically designed to help software make judgments—it does not generate chat responses, but only handles classification, selection, and scoring. It charges $0.042 per million input tokens, with output free of charge. Low-cost models or model access platforms such as DeepSeek, Featherless AI, and OpenRouter also appeared on the list.

But enterprise demand for expensive AI tools is also growing. Video generation platforms Runway and Higgsfield both entered the top ten for market share growth, currently mainly used for advertising and social media marketing.

Ramp Chief Economist Ara Kharazian believes that cheap models may lower enterprises' AI invocation costs, but rising demand for image and video generation could in turn push up overall AI spending.
