Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Commission has added Finanx AI to its list of unlicensed companies, alleging it promoted tokens to investors.

October 9 - According to an official announcement, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has added "Finanx AI / Finas Technology Limited" to its list of unlicensed companies. The entity may have promoted FNXAI and 1FNXAI tokens to investors through events held in Hong Kong, and may have claimed that investing in these tokens could yield high returns. FNXAI and 1FNXAI tokens were added to the SFC's suspicious investment products alert list on September 30, 2026.

The Hong Kong SFC stated that the entity is not licensed by the SFC or registered in Hong Kong to conduct any regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance, and is not permitted to engage in any regulated activities in Hong Kong.
