WeCom Deeply Integrates with WorkBuddy: AI Can Read Chats and Meeting Records, and Track Computing Power Costs
Beating AI News Flash: Tencent announces deep integration of WeCom and WorkBuddy.
In the new version of WeCom 5.0.12, WorkBuddy has officially entered the enterprise contacts, allowing employees to chat with it and assign tasks just like contacting colleagues, and also add it to work groups. For example, it can summarize group chat discussions, organize meeting to-dos, draft emails, and return results directly upon completion.
WorkBuddy 5.8.0 supports direct login using a WeCom account. Within the scope of enterprise authorization, it can access 10 office capabilities, including chat messages, documents, meetings, and WeDrive. Employees no longer need to repeatedly upload materials, and can let AI handle tasks by combining previous discussions and project files. The generated results can also be saved to WeDrive with one click. In addition, the WorkBuddy bot can also connect to WeCom's built-in AI assistant "Dayuan" to collaborate on more complex tasks.
Administrators can assign WorkBuddy accounts, set data access permissions, and through the "Observability Center," which began public beta on October 13, view points consumption, model usage, and task duration across departments, and even track which specific execution step encountered a problem.
Currently, the new interoperability capabilities are available to verified WeCom enterprises, with limited free trial spots offered.
