Stripe co-founder: After acquiring Privy, its revenue increased to about 9 times the previous level, and wallet asset scale grew to about 25 times.
October 15: Stripe co-founder Patrick Collison posted that since Privy joined Stripe more than a year ago, the scale of assets in its wallets has grown to about 25 times its previous level, the number of monthly active developers has increased to about 3 times, revenue has grown to about 9 times, and it currently facilitates nearly $25 billion in transactions per month. Companies such as Ramp, Deel, Klarna, and Hyperliquid are building embedded banking features based on Privy.
Stripe is deeply integrating Privy into Treasury, Link, and Connect to accelerate global expansion and feature development, and plans to launch a Link balance feature. Privy's wallet infrastructure also already supports AI agents in conducting transactions and earning income, with related applications including Merit Systems, Nevermined, and others. Collison expects the agent economy to continue growing rapidly.
The two sides are building a unified API to support holding stablecoin balances and earning yield, fiat funding transfers in and out, and arranging spending via bank cards. Collison also said that there is still a great deal of work to be done on integration among Privy, Bridge, and Stripe's other businesses.
