Arthur Hayes: The So-Called Crypto Quantum Threat Is 'Bullshit,' Users Only Need to Pay Attention to Wallet Management

October 17: In a recent interview with The Rollup, Arthur Hayes stated that the so-called crypto quantum threat is "bullshit" (nonsense/exaggerated), a known and manageable risk rather than a reason to sell.

Hayes believes that the truly practical protection lies in wallet hygiene (address hygiene), i.e., avoiding address reuse and using newer signature types. Most of the risk is concentrated among those with poor address management. Hayes does not consider quantum computing a catalyst for panic or selling Bitcoin at present.
