October 20: Musk posted that the X platform's timeline recommendations are undergoing two important adjustments. First, a new AI and superintelligence ranking model can better predict the time users are likely to spend; second, the retrieval model, after training, is more inclined to push posts that users will read through completely.

Musk also stated that the number of active seconds for users on the X platform is growing exponentially, hitting historical highs almost every day. The accompanying chart shows that the 2026 user activity curve is significantly higher than in previous years, rising to above approximately 500 billion seconds by late October.
