Users can assign tasks to dot via iMessage on iPhone or the Google Messages app on Android, just like messaging a friend, with support for text, photos, and voice messages. dot can also proactively send messages to report task progress.

Currently, it is being gradually rolled out for testing to ChatGPT Pro users in the US only.
