November 2 - According to data from the BIT stock platform, the three major U.S. stock indices edged higher during intraday trading, with the Dow up about 1%, and the S&P and Nasdaq up nearly 0.6%.

Optical communication leader Lumentum (LITE) fell over 10%, while Ciena (CIEN) dropped nearly 3.9%.

The Neocloud sector weakened collectively, with Astera Labs (ALAB) down nearly 4.9%, Cipher Mining (CIFR) down nearly 4.7%, AST SpaceMobile (ASTS) down over 4.5%, CoreWeave (CRWV) down nearly 4%, and Nebius (NBIS) down over 3%.

Among semiconductors, Marvell (MRVL) fell over 6%.

In storage, Seagate (STX) dropped nearly 4.6%.

SpaceX (SPCX) rose nearly 3.7%. The VIX fell nearly 3.7% to about 18.7.
