U.S. House Speaker Johnson believes that "polls are inaccurate."
November 3 — On the eve of Election Day, the core message conveyed by U.S. House Speaker Johnson is: "The polls are wrong." Continuing the optimistic attitude he has held throughout the campaign, he said: "It feels just like 2024 — when we won big, sweeping the White House, the Senate, and the House all at once. That's exactly what's happening now. The polls are wrong."
On Monday evening, at a campaign rally in Virginia's 2nd Congressional District for Representative Jen Kiggans, Johnson appeared alongside former Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin. He called on voters to turn out actively and reminded those present: "Especially in a race as competitive as this one, victory and defeat often come down to a razor-thin margin." Johnson also noted: "In the last election cycle, we had 10 races that we won by 6,000 votes or fewer."
