A-shares' STAR 50 Index surges over 10%, ChiNext Index climbs nearly 7%

On the news front, the China Securities Regulatory Commission has recently held meetings with investment banks and issued verbal guidance to banks and investment banks, requiring a temporary suspension of initial public offerings (IPOs).
