November 4: He Yi issued a statement in response to external criticism and suggestions regarding Binance's security and permission management, stating that Binance accepts all criticism and emphasizing that user fund safety is the top priority. If there is a funding shortfall, Binance will bear full responsibility and will not evade it.

He Yi also stated that Binance chose to disclose specific details of the security incident in order to build trust through transparent disclosure and provide a reference for the industry in addressing social engineering attacks and AI permission boundary risks.

Regarding subsequent preventive measures, Binance has restructured access permissions and security boundaries across departments, updated devices, reset AI tools, and adjusted its security system in accordance with zero trust and least privilege principles. A security audit report will also be released subsequently. He Yi also stated that AI security experts and technical talent are welcome to join Binance to jointly verify and improve the security system.
