Four crypto KOLs under on-chain investigation: promotion calls inconsistent with wallet activity, some suspected of bundling and front-running
November 5th: On-chain analytics platform Bubblemaps posted that it recently investigated four crypto KOLs and concluded that their wallet activities are not fully consistent with their public narratives, based on Bubblemaps' analysis and estimates. Regarding "Kimchi," who was brought on by Pump.Fun for a partnership, rumors in the community once circulated that they made about $40 million on TRUMP. Based on their public airdrop wallet and associated clusters, Bubblemaps estimates the related profit at around $6 million and questions the reason for concealing the association.
For Solstice, Bubblemaps stated that multiple meme coins they promoted exhibited bundling characteristics, with dozens of new wallets buying simultaneously and each holding about 0.5% to 1% of the supply, and public wallets can be traced back to the token deployer.
For Anglio, after analyzing about 534 posts in October, the platform stated that associated wallets bought an average of about 20 seconds ahead of roughly 61% of the calls and sold quickly, with estimated profits of about $130,000, and the individual has admitted to using such tactics.
For 0xEthan, Bubblemaps stated that they often sell within about three minutes after making calls, with public wallets and hidden side wallets buying during the same period, and estimated related profits at about $125,000.
