OpenAI CFO: Midterm Elections Did Not Significantly Alter IPO Plans
Nov 7, 18:01
November 7 - OpenAI CFO Sarah Friar said in an interview with CNBC that the company previously stated it will continue to consider an IPO in 2027, and the results of the US midterm elections have not significantly changed this plan.
Friar said the company's management team needs to respond to different scenarios; if the midterm elections mean increased external focus on data centers and communities, OpenAI will continue to engage with communities and build trust. She also said the company will continue to invest to meet the needs of AI customers.
