Apple's Siri AI Adds Support for Five Languages Including French and Japanese

October 27 — According to Apple Newsroom, Apple's 27.2 system update brings French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish support to Siri AI. Built on Apple Intelligence, Siri AI supports personal context understanding, system-level app actions and on-screen awareness. It is currently available in beta across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS and visionOS 27.2. Support for Traditional Chinese, Norwegian, Turkish and Vietnamese will launch before the end of the year. Siri AI is currently unavailable on iOS, iPadOS and watchOS in the EU and is not available to users under 13. Features that rely on server-side models have daily usage limits, and Apple says paid expanded usage access will be introduced in the future.
