Oct 27, 19:45

October 27: Statistics released for the first time by the Dutch central bank show that, as of the end of June 2026, Dutch households held about €3.2 billion in crypto assets through domestic crypto asset service providers, equivalent to 1.4% of their total investments in stocks, funds and bonds. Of that, bitcoin accounted for about €1.5 billion and Ethereum about €300 million, while stablecoins made up less than 1%.

The statistics exclude crypto assets held by Dutch residents at foreign service providers or in self-custody wallets, and also exclude indirect crypto investments. Including businesses and other domestic sectors, the total crypto assets held through Dutch crypto service providers came to €3.4 billion.
