Ripple CEO responds to rumors of abandoning XRP: We will never give up on XRP

October 29 — according to U.Today, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse addressed market rumors that Ripple would scale back its support for XRP and shift focus to its stablecoin RLUSD at the opening of the Swell 2026 conference, saying "We will never give up on XRP" and that Ripple would never do anything it believes would harm the XRP ecosystem. Garlinghouse called XRP's momentum "profound," noting that RLUSD is one of the factors driving that momentum and that the two are complementary.
