Mask Network: Three Leak Incidents in One Week Were Not Blockchain Breaches, Calls for Reflection on Data Hoarding
Oct 30, 11:59
October 30 — Mask Network posted on X that three leak incidents occurred within a week, involving a vendor, a bank and an engineer's laptop respectively, and that none of these incidents was caused by the blockchain itself being compromised. Mask Network said that large amounts of personal data are stored in places that easily become attack targets, and that rather than discussing how to protect all data, it is better to first ask why this data is collected in bulk. It believes the safest data may be data that no one hoards.
