Trezor: Trezor Safe 5 device sold via reseller CryptoBilis suspected of implanted malicious hardware

October 30: According to The Block, Trezor said it received a disclosure report that a Safe 5 device sold through reseller CryptoBilis may have been implanted with unauthorized hardware. Trezor has urged customers who purchased devices from CryptoBilis since March 2026 to move their funds to newly created wallets and use new recovery seeds. No losses have been reported so far.
