October 30: Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich posted that he supports Binance and all teams working hard to handle this incident, and stated that industry participants should unite and collaborate at such times.

Gerovich emphasized that this incident has not affected Bitcoin itself, and the Bitcoin network has been operating normally according to its established mechanisms since 2009. In addition, all Bitcoins held by Metaplanet are stored in cold wallets, managed by industry-leading regulated custodians.
