Nov 3, 00:44

Nov. 3 — According to CoinDesk, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) announced a partnership with Wall Street financial services giant Broadridge Financial Solutions to provide on-chain governance and digital transfer agent services for its planned tokenized stock trading platform, covering shareholder record management, investor communications and proxy voting. Investors will be able to cast shareholder votes through supported wallets, brokerage platforms or Broadridge's existing ProxyVote service.

Broadridge will help tokenized stocks retain the shareholder rights of traditional markets while trading on-chain. The company currently serves more than 10,000 listed companies worldwide and settles more than $15 trillion in securities trades daily. Previously, Securitize and tZERO were also included in the transfer agent service lineup for the NYSE's tokenization platform.
